About AIStack

AIStack is an independent directory of AI tools, ranked and reviewed by humans — not algorithms.

We started AIStack in 2025 because the existing AI tool directories were broken. Most were either:

• Auto-scraped junk listings with no editorial perspective.
• Pay-to-play directories where the “Best” tool is the highest bidder.
• Out of date the moment they went live.

We believed there was room for a directory that was both opinionated and transparent. So we built one.

Our mission

Help anyone — founders, marketers, students, creators, professionals — find the right AI tool for their workflow in under five minutes.

How we rank tools

Every tool on AIStack is assigned an editor score from 1–10, based on five weighted factors:

1. Output quality (35%) — how good are the tool’s actual results in real-world tasks?
2. Ease of use (20%) — how fast can someone go from sign-up to useful output?
3. Pricing & value (20%) — what do you get per dollar?
4. Reliability (15%) — uptime, consistency, vendor stability.
5. Ecosystem fit (10%) — integrations, APIs, exports.

We test every tool ourselves. We don’t just paraphrase marketing copy.

How we make money

AIStack is supported by:

• Affiliate commissions — when you click a “Try [Tool]” button and sign up, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
• Display ads — we run Google AdSense to support the site.
• Sponsored listings — clearly labeled “Sponsored” in our directory and reviews. Sponsorship never affects editor scores.

What sponsors don’t buy: they cannot influence our editor score, our pros/cons, or our ranking position in non-sponsored sections. Period.

Editorial independence

If a tool we previously recommended gets worse, we say so. If a sponsor disappoints us in testing, we won’t hide it. Our long-term value to readers depends on saying what we actually think.

The team

AIStack is run by a small editorial team of founders, marketers, and engineers who use these tools daily in their own work. We are based remotely.
